Back to natural farming
In the south of Hungary, in the Baranya province near the Croatian border, we own several plots of land. With these plots, the company "Rasbo Genettikai Örügseg" (Rasbo Genetic Heritage) was founded.
Our name best describes what we stand for: genetically ancient varieties and an old, traditional farming method.
Our product range consists of ancient seeds that preferably also occur in the wild, and medicinal products containing many minerals.

We consider it very important to use ancient seeds that are not modern hybrids or even GMOs; therefore, you will never find modern hybrid varieties such as "F1" or "F5" (for example, Strawberry F1 or Tomato F1) with us.
These modern hybrids often have weaker reproduction and produce a higher percentage of seeds that cannot germinate and grow into a new plant. Some modern hybrids are even sterile and cannot be propagated via seed. Hybrids also often have lower nutritional value but a higher yield.
Our medicinal products are primarily based on the work of Dr. Sebi; we have studied his work extensively and are even part of "Herbal University," an expensive course on the medicinal value of herbs created by one of his sons, who has already cured many people of diseases and ailments.
The two things central to Dr. Sebi's work are the pH value and the minerals of the medicine.
You can tell if a plant is a genetically ancient variety solely by its pH value; every modern hybrid has a pH value below 7 (on the pH scale of 0-14) and is therefore acidic. If you have a genetically ancient variety, the pH value will always be above 7 because it was not created or manipulated by humans and is therefore not acidic (<7) but alkaline (>7), which has a healing effect on the body.
Our alkaline medicinal products contain many minerals such as iron, calcium, zinc, etc., which is also very beneficial for the body. Many harvests in modern agriculture depend on (synthetic) fertilizers and chemicals for control (pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, etc.).
You do not need any of the above if the life in the soil (bacteria and fungi, etc.) and the plant itself are healthy. A healthy plant is not attacked by insects because they cannot produce the enzymes needed to digest it, as it has a high sugar content (BRIX).
Even fertilizers can become superfluous if the soil is fertile enough and then produces everything needed in terms of nitrogen, potassium, etc., itself. At Rasbo, we work in a way known as "Regenerative agriculture." This means that we produce in harmony with nature and aim to make it function as much as possible like an old forest or natural landscape.
Therefore, we do not have large plots of land with only one or two plant species, but instead work with a great deal of diversity and introduce few to no products from outside our garden.
